Welcome to Pancakes and Duct Tape

A: Hello. I'm Alyssa
S: And I'm Sarah. Together we are Pancakes and Duct Tape. Why those things? Why not? They are amazing things no matter what age you are or what project you're trying to accomplish. We love them. Almost as much as we love tv. And we love tv a lot. Our favorite shows are complex ones which are well written and full of interesting and realistic characters.
A: Character development is the most important. Good tv shows have characters you love, characters, you hate, and plot twists that make you scream at the television. And good character development comes not only from action, obviously, but also from fabulous dialogue. So watch out-- people like us, who watch what many would argue is too much television, will undoubtedly throw quotes and references into every single blog we post, whatever the topic.
S: What will our topics be? I think mostly comments on relationships, funny situations in tv and in our lives, and possibly sometimes food or fashion or the news.
A: So, what about Sarah and Alyssa? We are... as trite as the terms seems, BEST FRIENDS. We are intelligent, awesome, hilarious women with strong personalities and defined opinions. We are similar but so very different, and we feed off of one another's energy. Not literally. That would be weird.
WHAT ABOUT US, REALLY?
Sarah was shot through a wormhole and now she's on a on a living ship full of strange alien creatures, but instead of talking into a cassette player, she chose to write a blog about her adventures. A few of the aliens she's encountered look human, just their super strong and what not. Alyssa's an alien she's cautiously optimistic about. She's even teaching her human slang.
Alyssa lives in this hatch with this old computer. She's not supposed to use it for anything other than the numbers.... but she's bored with Geronimo Jackson so she's writing an effing blog. She's got Sarah holed up in the armory with the man from Minnesota, but she lets her out every once in awhile because Sarah and Alyssa are a dynamic duo. *

*Some or all of this may not be true.
